The first full week of June every year the City runs a clean-up week. During this week the City and Greenbush Sanitation pick up different materials, not normally picked up, in order to keep a clean environment in our city. These materials include furniture, appliances, household construction materials, among other items.
Bulky Items listed will be picked up at the curb. Place your items for disposal near your regular garbage pickup site by 7 a.m.
Some items will have an extra pick-up charge. Those items are:
Appliances- $10.00 Fee
Televisions, Computer Monitors, Microwave
Tires- Car $3.00 Fee; Truck - $5.00 Fee; Tractor- $10.00 Fee
Wood and other Construction materials will not be picked up at the curb.
Monday through Friday the City Shop will be open for construction waste drop-off. Hours are 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. or by appointment for after-hours drop-off. This site will accept odds & ends of construction-related material such as trim pieces, windows, doors, and other related construction material. Please note that contractor’s waste is not accepted and large quantities will be billed out.
