Animal Control

Animal Control is governed by Ordinance No 88- The Keeping of Domestic Animals within Greenbush. All cats, dogs or other domestic animals within city limits must have a license from the city. The licenses can be applied for at the city office. The cost is $10.00. The length of the license is for the same length of the animals rabies inoculation, which is required for the license. Also, all animals need to be restrained by chain or leash when off the owner's property. If the animal is not restrained it is considered to be running at large in the city. Any animal running at large within the city will be fined. Also, the owner must clean all fresh matter from their animals when off their property. The Public Works Director is the in charge of animal control any concerns can be directed to him.
