The public works department is based out of the city shop. The city shop is located on the corner of CSAH #4 & #7. This is where Public Works employees are based. They are responsible for the maintenance of all city buildings, water, sewer, streets, parks, machinery and much more. Any problems with the Water and Sewer service can be directed to them at 218-782-2941, or the city office if they are unavailable.
